Maha Monsoon Session: Ganesh Naik assures timely action to address water shortage in Melghat Tiger Reserve
During the Maharashtra Monsoon Session 2025, Amravati MLA Smt. Sulabha Khodke raised concerns over the declining water levels in the Melghat Tiger Reserve due to rising summer temperatures.
In response, Forest Minister Ganesh Naik assured that desilting of water bodies will be carried out and necessary repair work will be undertaken. These works will be completed within three months. If not, a review meeting with local representatives will be convened.
