Maha Monsoon Session: Ganesh Naik highlights measures for safe wildlife movement amid road expansion

During the Maharashtra Monsoon Session 2025, Forest Minister Ganesh Naik addressed concerns raised by MLA Dr. Nitin Raut about wild animals entering urban areas due to road blockages.

Ganesh Naik clarified that with expanding road networks, elevated roads are being constructed in forest areas to ensure safe wildlife movement. These measures help animals like leopards and tigers cross without injury. He emphasized the government’s commitment to balancing development with wildlife conservation and protecting both communities and ecosystems.
